She enjoys working with teens, adults, and parents, including educators and caregivers navigating stress, burnout, and life transitions. Kristen specializes in supporting people experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, parenting challenges, postpartum struggles, infertility, adoption-related dynamics, school and learning issues, and burnout—particularly among teachers, school staff, and helping professionals.
Before becoming a therapist, Kristen worked for 27 years as a middle and high school social worker, supporting students with IEPs, 504 plans, and their families. She has extensive experience working with individuals with ASD, ADHD, and other developmental differences. Additionally, she is deeply passionate about the mental health and well-being of educators and families navigating the school system.
Kristen works from a trauma-informed, strengths-based perspective, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Somatic strategies, and Relational Therapy. She helps clients develop emotional regulation, coping skills, and restorative practices to support healing, connection, and a flourishing life.
