Terra Oegema, LLMSW

Terra Oegema is a relational, trauma-informed therapist who works with adults seeking healing from trauma, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, chronic illness, and life transitions. Many of her clients come to therapy feeling disconnected from themselves, stuck in patterns they no longer understand, or carrying experiences that continue to shape their present relationships and sense of self.

Terra has a particular passion for helping clients move beyond simply managing symptoms and toward deeper healing. She is currently pursuing advanced training in Internal Family Systems (IFS or often known as “parts work”) and has completed training in Brainspotting, integrating these approaches alongside somatic, relational, and evidence-informed therapy. Her work helps clients gently explore the protective parts of themselves, process unresolved trauma, and reconnect with their inner resilience and capacity for healing.

She also enjoys supporting individuals living with chronic illness, chronic pain, and medical trauma, recognizing the profound emotional impact that health challenges can have on identity, relationships, and everyday life. Terra creates a collaborative, compassionate space where clients can better understand their emotions, strengthen coping skills, and move toward greater self-compassion and emotional freedom.
